Hello, Kindly check out the below requirement and let me know your interest. *Position: Security Penetration Tester* Location: NYC Contract: 6 Months+ could go for years *JOB SUMMARY:* Seeking a highly technical penetration tester or ethical hacker with a software development background. The right candidate will conduct advanced penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in applications and computer systems for our corporate and SaaS environment. *DUTIES:* • Conduct security tests using automated tools, ad-hoc tools, and manual testing • Conduct penetration testing against different technological domains including, but not limited to, web applications, web services, wireless networks, databases, virtualized environments • Assist in implementation of static source code analysis tools • Assess and calculate risk based on vulnerabilities and exposures discovered during testing • Provide input on security controls • Create required information security documentation and complete requests in accordance with requirements • Escalate to appropriate management, and provide timely, relevant updates and periodic reports as needed *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* • Bachelor's degree in computer science or in a related field • 10+ year experience in Information Security, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience • Security related certifications a plus (e.g., CISSP, GSEC, CEH, etc.) • Experience with penetration testing and forensics tools/platforms such as App Scan, Fortify, Maltego. Kali Linux, Nessus, nmap, OpenVAS • Experience with exploitation frameworks, such as Meta sploit, w3af, Core Impact, Canvas • Understanding of security issues on various operating systems, open source web and database platforms • Knowledge of security implications when coding in a specific language (Java, .js, Objective-C, etc.) • Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and investigative skills • Experienced in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and clients • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality • Excellent knowledge of security and network technologies • Ability to customize existing tools or write own tools definitely a plus Thank you for your time.
