NO OPT *Role: Hadoop Administrator* *Duration:6 Months Contract* *Location: Bay Area, CA* *Requirements:* · 8+ years of overall industry experience, with 3 + years in Big data, Hadoop and Hadoop-ecosystem. · Experienced in deployment and Administration for different Hadoop distribution for leading organizations, which deal with strong enterprise-scale solutions architecture and implementation. · Cloudera Hadoop Certified Administrator, architecture and deployment experience in Hadoop, NoSQL databases and Eco-system applications. · Experienced in design and deployment architecture with broad understanding of the components of Hadoop and Hadoop-eco system architecture · Experience in administrating/managing Hadoop distribution from different vendors like Cloudera, Hortonworks, Pivotal HD, IBM Big Insights and MapR · Experience in design and implement the security for Hadoop and Hadoop eco-system applications · Worked in building the monitoring environment for the Hadoop cluster using vendor provided tools and open source tools. · Experienced in anticipating problems and taking decisive action, to solve the issues without to the impact on both development clusters and production cluster * Roles & Responsibilities* · Implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure · Aligning with the systems engineering team to propose and deploy new hardware and software environments required for Hadoop and to expand existing environments. · Working with data delivery teams to setup new Hadoop users.
