Java developer with 8+ years of IT experience
• Strong Java design skills, gained through coming from the
development ranks
• Strong back ground in Java, J2EE, XML and Web Services
technologies.
• Proven experience in SOA implementations
• Expertise in designing and implementing transactional, scalable
and highly available solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware tools and
technologies including Oracle Service Bus, BPEL, Mediator, Business
Activity Monitor and Oracle Technology adapters.
• Hands on experience in designing, developing and deploying Oracle
SOA Suite BPEL Processes using JCA based technology adapters (JMS Adapter,
MQ Adapter, DB Adapter, and File Adapter)
• Experience building or customizing multi-tiered Java EE
applications (4years+)
• Knowledge on JVM and its memory management, tuning, diagnostics
and configuration
• Very good understanding of Oracle and SQL Server Databases
• PL/SQL & SQL creation/migration/optimization a definite asset
• Proficiency with Unix / Linux with strong Shell scripting
experience
• 3+ years of experience in middleware products such as MQ etc for
enterprise application integration using ESB
• Knowledge on High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Knowledge of Configuring, monitoring, tuning WebLogic domains in
Cluster and high availability environment
• Proficiency tuning work managers, data-sources and JVMs on
WebLogic server
• Working knowledge of Mobility Platform/Development is a plus
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies is a plus
• Expertise in integrating a wide range of systems.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority
projects with varying deadlines.
• Excellent problem solving abilities, coupled with a desire to
take on responsibilities
• Must be detailed orientated and a self-starter
• Strong analytical skills (ability to quickly determine the
problem space and organize it into simple components through data mining,
statistical analysis and quantitative analysis)
• Strong technical writing skills (ability to write clearly and
concisely)
• Strong trouble shooting skills (ability to uncover trouble
rapidly and provide resolution)
• Proven leadership and organization skills
• Excellent ability to articulate and document technical concepts
to non-technical audience
• Autonomous, strong tolerance to ambiguity, excellent capacity for
applied learning
