*Hadoop Developer* *Location: Bloomington IL* *Rate:$42/hr on C2C* Skills & Background: Design and development on Hadoop technology framework using *Hbase, Fumes, Kafka, Solr, Hive, Zookeper, Oozie, Yarn, Pig, Map Reduce Required additional skills on Unix, Python , data warehousing, Data migration and Java technologies*. Strong knowledge of SDLC methodology and project life cycle including analysis, design and development, Testing Methodologies and Techniques used in State Farm Responsible for delivery & co-ordination among onshore-offshore for solutions and improvements within the team Experience working with projects on Service Management and Dev Ops Required knowledge in developing, implementing, measuring and continuously improving all standard IT Service Management functions Exclusive knowledge on Incident, Problem and Change Management Strong industry expertise of insurance domains and/or regulatory and legal environments Strong written, verbal and coordination skill Ability to transition support knowledge back to State Farm resources Work will initially be performed from a Bloomington State Farm location, but we may request to move the work to an approved US vendor facility during 2016.
