Please find the Job description below and contact me at your earliest possible convenience. *Role: SAP BPC Consultant* *Duration: **6+ Months* *Location: San Jose, CA* *Required:* *MUST HAVE:* · 10+ year of core SAP BPC experience along with a strong knowledge in Legal Consolidation. · Hands on Functional/Technical proficiency with at least 3-5 full lifecycle SAP implementations · Minimum 4 years of consulting SAP experience implementing BPC · Must have BPC, BPC Planning and BPC Consolidation · Experience with technical skills such as SAP BPC, BO/BW/BI. · Has experience in working in 2-3 Support/Maintenance Projects *Good-to-Have* · ITIL Incident/ Problem/ Change Management Process Knowledge · Flexibility to work in shifts *Roles and Responsibilities* · Participate in functional requirements definition and package selection, provide guidance on SAP BPC functionality, design and develop reports and input schedules, develop custom interfaces Facilitate solution architecting workshops with business managers, client staff, and end-users to determine the functional requirements · Deliver functional and technical components of legal and management consolidation solutions using SAP Business Objects Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 7.5. · Apply knowledge with the development of financial planning/forecasting models, collection and aggregation of forecast data, evaluation of forecast results, reporting and presentation of annual plans and forecasts to both senior level financial and operational management. · Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices · Work with the Business Owners / Users or other Functional Team members or IT Team members to analyze, design, configure, test, and implement, · SAP solutions to meet business requirements. · Act as the liaison between the Technical team members and the end users to insure requirements / progress are communicated accurately. · Perform configuration/customization related activities to resolve user reported issues in a timely manner. · Documentation of Solutions, SAP configuration and program modifications according to internal standards. · Research new technologies and functionality for making recommendations. · Build partnerships with internal customers. · Leads system testing effort necessary as part of project deliverables. · Training of Users on new Systems and Processes. Provides day to day support to End Users – Day to Day operations support and working with business users to resolve the issues, Bug Fixes for the issues/incidents reported · Ability to work in a fast paced, delivery focused environment · Ability to work to tight timelines in a high pressure environment · Actively suggest Continuous Improvements · Communicate daily progress · Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and complete work with little or no supervision while keeping management fully informed of plans and progress. May coordinate and oversee activities of project team or less experienced team members. · Acts as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. · Installs, tests, implements and supports new versions or updates to SAP software or hardware; requires high levels of coordination with other IT groups, vendors and stakeholders. · Provides production support of support of multi-tiered environment, including 24x7 on-call support as required.
