This is *VINEETA *from *TRG Inc.* Please share profiles on *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Position: Security Engineer* *Location: Mooresville, North Carolina 28115* *Duration: 12 months contract* *MOI: Skype hire* *Work Status: GC/USC* *Security Engineer* *Minimum Requirements:* · Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate security-related, information systems’ anomalies based on security platform reporting, network traffic, log files, host-based and automated security alerts. · Maintain, configure, and analyze network and *host-based* security platforms · Evaluate systems using vulnerability scanners and manual techniques to verify system security settings and configurations. · Provide reoccurring reports for network and host-based security solutions · Maintain and update relevant system and process documentation and develop ad-hoc reports as needed. · Assist the development of security tool requirements, trials, and evaluations, as well as security operations procedures and processes · Develop security tool requirements, trials, and evaluations, as well as security operations procedures and processes · Manage security responsibilities, including *firewalls, proxy systems, logging*, and other security devices. · Create and review reports on event anomalies. · Develop and maintain security policies. · Raise awareness of security policies and develop corresponding procedures. · Provide security expertise to the company. · Assist in the enforcement and monitoring of Compliance regulations. · Investigate and respond to security violations. · Designs and conducts training for corporate security education and awareness programs. · Defines security requirements and reviews systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established security standards. · Develop new standards as necessary. · Analyze business needs, researches and recommends solutions. · 7-10 years of work experience in IT; at least *6 years focused on information security* within IT. *Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.* *Description:* · This role is specific to IT Digital. · *Current security certification such as CISSP, CISA or other audit certifications a plus. * · *Require experience managing audits, planning tasks, prioritizing, compliance reporting. * · Should have knowledge and experience working with *PCI standards*. · Should have experience working with system, firewall, database, application logs. · Understanding of technical aspect of information security including *TCP/IP, Firewall, Encryption, Certificates, IPS, syslogs and SIEM, Antivirus, APT, SIEM, OWASP*. · Must be experienced in *Microsoft Active Directory, Puppet, security settings, group policies*. · The position will include a mix of compliance related work (60%) and security administration duties (40%). · Compliance work will include the management, planning and execution of security audit, collection of evidences, and follow-up on daily, monthly, yearly tasks. · Plan and participate in PCI audit preparation, 3rd party audit, run reports, participate in remediation projects.
