Role: Database Programmer(MDM) Location: Sr. Louis, MO Duration : 6 plus months Database Programmer (MDM) The Database Programmer will be part of the Information Architecture team. This individual will focus on all aspects of the programming and technology associated with Data Architecture and Master Data Management solutions. Key responsibilities include database programming, master data management, ETL process design, business process design, and the documentation and presentation of Data Architecture solutions. This individual will work very closely with key business & data analysts and technology teams. Accountabilities: -Progress towards understanding of the overall data strategy and architecture programs at Client and be aware of how the company consumes data. -Focus on the implementation of master data management strategy and be aware of how that area fits into the overall strategy for information architecture. -Be familiar with and be able to understand logical and physical data models of existing systems and in support of new initiatives using Erwin as a data modeling tool. -Support the implementation of data integration projects across multiple systems and applications related to the master data management solution. -Communicate, implement, and drive standards and best practices in support of Information Architecture objectives. -Participate in the creation of data integrity compliance reporting in association with data driven business processes and master data management. -Maintain communication with business users, business analysts and technical leads in understanding their business and data needs. -Support the analysis of data available in an existing data sources and collect statistics and information about that data in support of metadata collection. -Contribute to the documentation and communication of metadata across Client with specific focus on the master data management solution. Qualifications & Experience Required: Personal Characteristics: -Works and communicates efficiently with non-technical users at all levels within the organization. -Ability to produce written communications and documentation with precision and clarity. -Performs well under pressure within team and individual setting. -Ability to adjust personal style to adapt to different situations. -Internal drive to finish work by deadlines (self motivated). -Process oriented, strong attention to detail. -Able to multi-task effectively. -Capable of learning new concepts and tools through self-study and individual effort.
