*Full Description:*

•Maintaining and monitoring our existing Linux and cloud-based
infrastructure

• Reviewing and deploying new Puppet-based stacks to multiple cloud
providers

• Rebuilding and cloning existing cloud-based systems.

• Confirming security for PCI in-scope systems and PCI assessments.

•Collaborating with other team members to develop and improve automation,
deployment, documentation, and training processes.

• Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.

• Maintain infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools.

• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions.

• Manage cloud-based networking and systems.

• Track, record, and confirm all systems and configuration changes.

• Manage cloud-based MySQL master, slaves, replication, and backups.

• Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available
infrastructure.



*What You Need for this Position*

•Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.

•Familiarity with Linux scripting languages.

•Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind,
Apache, MySQL, Memcache, rsyslog, OSSEC, ntpd, Icinga, etc.

•Strong knowledge and experience configuring, maintaining, and stress
testing LAMP stacks.

•Apache rewrites and regular expressions.

• Virtual host and SSL setups.

•Strong grasp of configuration management tools, such as Puppet.

•Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.

•Proficient with AWS EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, VPN, Cloud Formation, etc.

•Proficient with network tools such as iptables, traceroute, Linux IPVS,
HAProxy, etc.

•Experience with virtualization technologies, such as AWS, VM Ware,
RightScale, etc.

•Ability to build and monitor services on production servers.

•Knowledge of servers, switches, routing, network diagrams, etc.

• Knowledge of CDN and DNS management.



*Required Qualifications:*

•Thorough knowledge and love of Linux operating system (RedHat, Debian,
Ubuntu, etc.). As a true Linux lover knows—Fatal Error: Found MS-Windows
System -> Repartitioning Disk for Linux.

•Advanced/Expert knowledge of servers/computers hardware and software, DNS,
and networking fundamentals (Cisco) including diagnostics with Linux
tools.

•Strong experience with LAMP:  Linux (RedHat), Apache, MySQL, and PHP.

•Strong experience with Storage Technology such as NFS Server, RAID Levels,
SAN, NAS, DAS, NetApp, etc.

•Experience Architecting and Designing complex enterprise level
infrastructures.

•Requires approximately 5+ years working in a computer technical field, 3+
years in an enterprise server environment and 2+ years in web hosting
environment

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to
communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences

•Inherent problem-solver with desire to learn and take on
responsibilities

•Due to the 24x7 operations of the business, Engineers will be required to
provide on-call coverage overnight and on weekends and holidays.



*Guru (Preferred) Qualifications:*

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent work
experience

•Technical certification including Linux+, RHCSA, RHCA, and RHCE strongly
preferred

•PCI-related knowledge and experience is a plus
