Understands changing business needs for the area(s) supported and the subsequent impact on applications. · Facilitates design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs, and offering and incorporating ideas. Conducts complete diagnosis of most business problems, factoring in a strong understanding of the technical architecture. Able to work some flexible hours, as required by Project Manager, to meet project deadlines · Required to design components or sub-components and then follow through with the coding, testing and integration of those components, usually working as part of a team, but sometimes on their own Responsible for code quality and adherence to standards · Develop and maintain new functionality for new web applications and web services according to specifications and within the agreed upon time frame. Works with functional architecture and quality assurance teams to review documentation, address issues and support those roles within the development lifecycle.
