Title: *Security Architect* Location: *Manassas, VA* Duration: * 12 **Months* Interview Mode: Skype Hire *Rate: $60 C2C* At least 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years specifically in the VMWare, Redhat, Private-Cloud and orchestration stacks We are looking for a Security Architect with proven skills in Virtualization and Private Cloud Security to help in the secure design of a new platform and technology stack *Your responsibilities will be to* Work closely with security experts, platform architects and platform delivery teams to: - Define security configuration and assess design security for all components of a VMWare, Redhat & Orchestration environment - Articulate the differences, positioning and overlap between technologies such as vRealize, Cloudforms, Openstack and assess security fit for each of these. - Articulate threats to a virtualized environment and define the changes needed to secure it, in the network, and in preventive and detective technology such as IDS, SIEM, Firewalls. - Specify compliance controls of particular relevance to a virtualized environment - Define security requirements and controls for Network Function Virtualization; Conduct security assessments of NFV designs. - Articulate security threats in SDN and define controls to mitigate them.
