*The Data Architect Role is accountable for the following:*
- Collaborate with PMOs, business and Enterprise Architects to develop a data strategy for the organization - Participate in Data Governance meeting to provide guidance and advocate how we can help the business be more successful, including participation with Data Management organizations to Define ownership, usage, security and quality for all data - Works directly with Data Analysts, Solution Architects and Vendors to understand and validate requirements and translate business requirements into technical requirements and designs - Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database. - Logical design of Databases, Data Warehouses and Multidimensional Databases including data flows, conception model and logical models - Serving as a consulting resource for Delivery and Support - Creating strategy and recommendations on a company’s future data and tech policies - Collaborating with other team members to build the ideal database, data integration and business intelligence infrastructure and platforms - Establish Data Architecture Design Patterns and best practices - Forward thinking on new technologies and patterns - Technology strategy and roadmaps *Skills* - Minimum of 10 years experience as a Data Architect - Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and BI techniques - Leadership and strong communication to influence architecture and design decisions - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Good understanding of Teradata, Informatica and Cognos – *a plus* - Communications and Presentation Skills including ability to communicate data concepts to business users - Good understanding of Data Governance Ram, ram.r...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
