*Drupal developer* *Long Term Contract* *San Jose, CA* *Job Description* We are looking for a Drupal Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, specifically module and theming activities. This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and aesthetics. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment. *Responsibilities* · Help formulate effective, responsive designs and convert into working themes · Work closely with Product team to ensure effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementations · Design and implement new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the website’s architecture · Ensure high-performance, availability, and manage all technical aspects of the Drupal CMS. *Skills and Qualifications* · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field · Ability to communicate and work well with others · Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and deadlines · Minimum 3 years experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP · Extremely fluent with PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript · Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS · Ability to convert comprehensive layout/wireframes into working HTML pages · Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions · Experience using and creating custom Drupal modules · Knowledge of PHP files, theme functions, and Drupal theme layer · Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
