*ArcGIS Developer* *Location: San Diego, CA* *1 Year contract* *Phone and skype* The ideal candidate is a software developer who has previously worked with utility GIS applications using ArcObjects and has the following: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent. • A minimum of 2 years recent proficiency with development of *ArcObjects, C#, .Net platforms.* • A minimum of *4 years recent experience with ESRI ArcGIS is required.* • A minimum of 2 years recent proficiency with Oracle 11g and MS SQL. • Working experience with the Schneider Electric ArcFM products highly desired. • Technical software development knowledge, with hands-on experience in program development in one or more technology environments. • Skills in verbal and written communications, with the ability to express highly complex technical concepts in business terms is highly desirable along with analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams. • Experience with Electric utility GIS deployments in a production/service environment similar to SEu. • Knowledge and experience in systems development lifecycle and methodologies. *Responsibilities: *App Dev/Maint/DB: Conducts requirements gathering, systems analysis, and design for medium complexity applications. Prepares detailed program specifications for medium complexity applications from which programs will be designed, coded, configured, visually developed, tested, and debugged. Follows program specifications to design, install, code, configure, visually develop, test, debug, and document application programs. Develops business knowledge and relationships to integrate activities with other IT and business personnel to ensure successful implementation of projects and production support efforts.
