Server/Systems Administrator
- Need a resource with experience installing, maintaining, monitoring
and troubleshooting custom-built .NET web applications on the Microsoft server
platform.
- Experience setting up/configuring and maintaining IIS, Application
Pools, Microsoft Load Balancing, .NET Framework, and other web server components
- Experience performance tuning server settings, OS tuning and
application pools to handle production and testing volumes of work
Project is looking for someone that understands how the apps tie together, more
of an APP support person then just managing servers.
ROLE: Systems Admin
RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3-5 years’ experience administering servers and applications on Windows 2003,
2008 or 2012, Linux
- Experience troubleshooting or monitoring web applications Microsoft IIS 7.0+
and Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.0 and/or 4.0, Apache/Tomcat/Java
- Experience in configuration load balancer technologies such as Windows NLB,
Citrix Netscaler, F5 etc.
- Exposure to relational databases (Oracle and/or SQL Server)
- Exposure to Active Directory, PKI, certs generation, renewal etc.
- Experience installing/configuring commercial off-the-shelf software. (Any of
the following would be preferred, but not required: Corticon, Adobe
LiveCycle, BizTalk, WebMethods, OnBase)
- Experience administering as many of the following microsoft technologies as
possible:
- Microsoft BizTalk Server
- Adobe LiveCycle
- SoftwareAG webMethods
- Microsoft IIS
- Windows Server
- Excellent communication skills (role is customer-facing and embedded with the
customer's team of resources)
