Relevant Experience (in Yrs)       10+ Years with 4 years of IBM MDM server
(Advance edition) experience and Datastage

Overview            The customer is seeking an experienced candidate to
implement it’s Enterprise Data Strategy which involves in transforming the
way the Customer manages their own Client and Consumer date.

*Experience Required:*

• Must have more than 10 years    of experience in Information
technology with at least 4 years of experience in IBM MDM server
development and

• Understanding IBM MDM server    concepts, processes, algorithms and
capabilities

• Strong understanding and hands-on    experience with data quality,
data profiling and metadata management

• Strong understanding of data    structure classifications, workflow
and CRUD processes

• Experience with large scale IBM    MDM server (Advanced edition)
implementation

• Worked on     IBM Datastage for Table definition refresh.

Solutioning:

• Pipeline-specific technical    solutioning during  Solution design
sessions. Assist teams as they execute on these during sprints (exceptions,
issues etc)

• General technical soluti   oning (Audit process, MDM Reject handling
etc, for example)

• Process-specific solutioning:    Designing interactions with outside
processes like D&B, design and coordination of specific CDC solutions

• Prototyping/proofs of concept    (could be exploratory from a
technical perspective to show technical options/capabilities or from a
business perspective to show possible business advantage, explore possible
capabilities)

• Drive work-session   s to design and solution specific sub-processes
(MDM interactions/reject handling, Auditing etc)

Environment management:

• Ensure environments (Dev,    iTest/UA etc) are used as effectively
and consistently as possible.

• Evaluate additional    needs/opportunities for new environments
(Stress, for example)

• Research approaches to sourcing    data /CDC (for new sources like
CCP, for example)

• Preparatory work – setting up    /researching sourcing connections
etc in advance of teams requiring it in future sprints

*Functional Skills / Responsibilities* :

• Forecasts and plans resource    requirements.

• Ensure that all projects are    delivered on-time, within scope

• Coordination with the Design    Authority for
exceptions/direction-setting decisions.

• Coordination of    designs/development of new shared
capabilities/processing across teams

• Coordination with Architects from    other areas where intersections
for new work occur

• Coordination with Security    Architecture where required
(exceptions/confirmation etc)

• Coordination with Data Delivery    Program Manager,  where required

• Coordination with the NRT team    where common processing/consistency
is required or where cross-team dependencies might exist

• Coordination with outside    vendors/consultants for specific
solutioning (D&B, Prolifics, etc.)

• Coordination of non-functional    requirements with the teams
(SLA’s/Data Masking requirements, security etc)

• Support for Da   ta Architecture where required (for example -
consistency with lookups/handling of NULLs/unknowns etc) (Coordination with
Data modellers/Edie)

• Technical and configuration    support – Classic Data Architect,
Source Connections, managing CDC Subscriptions etc.

• Support to identify appropriate    data sources where needed

• Evaluate opportunities to improve    processing between existing
processes (identify and eliminate duplicate/overlapping processing for
example)

• Identify and co   ordinate new development standards where required
(work with COE/Developers)

• Participation and contributions    to CDI Dev Forum, SQL Lunch &
Learn forums, Architects Comminuty of Practise, etc.

• Availability for Product    refinement sessions, for clarifications
regarding technical/process impacts/expectations

• Participation in Design and Code    reviews

• Participation in Daily Scrum of    scrums

• Coordinate bulk Access requests    where needed

• Coordination with Ent   erprise Architecture where required
(currently limited)

• Coordination with other    Architects on setting up new Access roles
when needed

• Participation in tech leadership    activities where required

• Mentoring role   

• Refresh Table definitions in    DataStage where needed

*Generic Managerial Skills :*

• Working in Onsite-Offshore Model   

MDM/Master Data Management, IBM MDM server (Advanced edition), Data Stage,
Table definition refresh, Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups,
story refinement/backlog grooming, , communication skills, written and
spoken, understand, interpret, and develop user stories, decompose Epics
into features and user stories

Required skills and Insurance experience
