It is starting as a 10+ month contract, and is likely to extend into Q1 of 2018. · This company is renowned for keeping good talent, as they are an ecosystem of technology, in an extremely easily accessible location by public transit. *Position Description:* · Create *responsive design* · Work in close collaboration with both the *UX strategy* and Development teams · Speak with all stakeholders effectively (UX designers, Product owners/managers, etc.) · Participate in *daily standups* – this is an *agile* team completing 2 week sprints · Complete work along deadlines for releases on a 2 week sprint schedule · Deliver design elements that product team is asking to see * Required Skills:* · *Responsive Design* experience a must o Strong visual design in the arena of web design and mobile design o Experience creating *responsive/mobile designs* o Ability to see resolutions in 3 different screen designs o Ensure that the user can easily navigate from point A to point B · Solid understanding and experience with UX Architecture – the “what” and “why” of user experience. o Must be able to explain what was created, and why it helps the user. · *Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator* hands-on experience a must (or a similar tool - Sketch software experience is a bonus) · Ability to deliver design elements that product team is asking to see · Well experienced designing interactive experiences and considers themselves user advocates well as conceptual and visual storytellers · Solid understanding of site architecture, user interfaces, content, navigation and know how to pair them with forward thinking design · Takes great pride in all deliverables and has a keen eye for detail · Friendly, flexible personality a must!
