The manager is looking for an Oracle Applications Production Support manager. Looking for *at least 10 years of Oracle experience primarily in a production support environment directly managing a staff of at least 10 employees.* The manager provided a detailed description below for searches. Duration: 5 months Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. *Minimum of 10+ years of recent client-server and Oracle application Production Support Manager experience directly managing 10+ staff.* *ALL REQUIRED SKILL SETS MUST BE REFLECTED ON THEIR RESUME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! * Oracle 10g knowledge and experience required. Expert and recent Unix shell scripting knowledge required. Expert and recent Perl scripting knowledge required. Intermediate and recent MS Word, Excel, and Visio experience required. Ability to create and maintain high quality technical documentation is required. Intermediate and recent experience using PVCS is required. Experience with project life cycle methodologies is required. Experience with production support incident management system such as Peregrine Service Center or equivalent is required. Experience working directly with business end users and other IT groups and organizations is required. Experience with scheduling and managing a production support staff providing 24/7 support is required including being an escalation point for incident management. Must be able to coordinate and lead incident management responses after hours and on weekends remotely if/as necessary. Experience with Fortracs and default mortgage servicing highly desirable but not required. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. This is primarily a production support position with some BAU maintenance/enhancement type development work.
