*Position: SQL DBA* *Location: Redmond, WA* *Duration: 3-6 Months* *Rate: $35/hr* * * *Requirements:* To qualify for this position, you must possess strong communication, organizational, and technical writing skills. You must function well in a fast-paced collaborative environment and be able to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills to complex production environment scenarios to ensure high availability. You will be able to demonstrate your strong troubleshooting and analytical skills through architecture and design discussions across technologies, through critical escalation support, and by mentoring others in your ownership area. *Skill set:* - A minimum of 3 years of database-related experience in a production environment o Strong database related skills in *SQL Server 2005, including OLAP, performance tuning, failover technologies and strategies* o SQL Administration including performance tuning and data analysis o *T-SQL stored procedure* development, analysis, and troubleshooting o Database implementation, db internals o Data warehouse familiarity - A minimum of 2 years of *IIS *experience in a production environment - 2 + years Production Support experience managing enterprise application - Ability to analyze live-site issues quickly and possess a thorough understanding of client/server architectures and high-availability clustered environments - Outstanding customer service/focus skills - Demonstrated ability in implementing and supporting multi-tiered, leading edge technology at an enterprise scale. - Prior practical experience with change control, source control, disaster recovery and backup strategies required - You must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a critical thinker, with excellent oral and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to define and follow best practices and business processes. - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, VBScript, JavaScript. -- *Thanks & Regards,* Alex Rodriguez Account Manager Data Group, Inc.
