THEY MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS We are in search of an Oracle Applications Support Analyst to join our client in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Oracle Applications Support Analyst with experience in Financials, Manufacturing and Procurement. The primary focus of this role is to provide both technical and functional support to our Oracle ERP Environment. Key Responsibilities:- Ø Provide Level 1 and 2 user support of in house production systems Ø Effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues both over the phone and in person Ø Escalate application system issues to appropriate groups Ø Manage open issues log through closure Ø Coordinate with support with external vendors and consultants Ø Develop and improve support processes and provide appropriate metrics Ø Assist business and technical user community defining user requirements, writing gap analysis and mapping system requirements for development efforts. Experience and Skills: Ø BA/ BS degree or equivalent and 5+ years as an Oracle Applications Support Analyst Ø Must have exp. with Oracle Applications R12/11.5.10 environment using Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow, PL/SQL, TOAD, and Application Object Library (AOL) Ø In depth knowledge of Oracle Applications; knowledge of the schema of the Oracle Applications specific to Systems Administration, Financials, Manufacturing Suites and the understanding of standard business processes Ø Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle and Full Life Cycle implementation experience. Ø Strong interpersonal skills required for interaction with business and technical users Ø Experience with software analysis, design, configuration, development, implementation, documentation and testing of business application systems. Ø Experience with Oracle Workflow in troubleshooting, issue resolution and custom workflows Ø Experience with Oracle SQL query language required Ø An understanding of TCP/IP networks, tools and related protocols along with knowledge of HTTP, IIS, DNS, SMTP, JMS and JDBC is a plus.
