*Position: Quality Assurance / Testing Location: Colorado Springs, CO Duration: 5 months - Possible 2 year contract* *Rate: $30/hr (Not Negotiable)* Level: HIGH (8 years experience) *Key Responsibilities:* - Work closely with lead developers to create, execute and document test plans and cases - Partner with QA Testers to assist them in problem resolution and defect management - Act as liaison between developers and testers in defect resolution - Develop and set up test data - Report test status to management and leads - Types of testing include regression testing, functional testing, stress testing, load testing and automated testing *Skill sets / Experience:* - *Telecom experience* - Experience working with users and supporting IT development in testing and delivering IT solutions - Understanding of various technologies and platforms such as web, client/server and mainframe, entity relationship diagrams and relational database concepts and object oriented methodologies - Ability to develop and set up test data - The candidate must be able to tie all test cases to use cases/business requirements - Experience in working as a liaison between developers and testers in defect resolution - Ability to work in a many different development, testing and production environments - Extensive high test analysis, defect management, trouble shooting tickets experience - *Expertise in Order management very helpful* - Great flexibility and team player - Professional and positive attitude - Excellent communication skills - College degree a plus -- *Thanks & Regards,* Alex Rodriguez Account Manager Data Group, Inc.
