*Technical Responsibilities:*
- Principal data designer for major systems utilizing available technology,
tools and existing designs.
- Work with client to identify requirements and processes for enterprise
wide data, while identifying software, hardware, technologies and tools,
etc. Research and evaluate alternatives and recommend efficient/cost
effective solutions. Perform analysis and system design. Identify and
implement new uses of info tech.
*Minimum 10 years experience in an Information Management function with
emphasis in Data Modeling/Analysis*. The candidate must have strong data
analysis skills particularly for analyzing the requirements for
Pharmaceutical Research data specifically within the clinical, regulatory,
and safety areas. This person should have strong knowledge of industry
reference data (e.g., WHO Drug, MedRA). The person will work with Sr.
Business Management and Application Architects to evaluate current systems
and requirements to come up with a short and long term solution for
enterprise wide data. Excellent planning, communication, presentation, and
negotiation skills required. Maintains and communicates Information
Architecture policies, principles, standards, and best practices. Will be
doing extensive data analysis to determine in-flows and out-flows of data
for various systems. In addition this person is responsible for implementing
strategies that promote business modeling, data quality, and data sharing
across the enterprise.
