Job Title : Network Test Enginer Duration : 12 Months Location : Morristown NJ *Job Description: * Candidates will work closely with developers and systems engineers to understand fault management subsystems functionality and resolve defects uncovered during their testing. Responsibilities include some or all of the following: Development of test plans, integration of internally developed and vendor software, integration test support, installations, deployments, end-to-end system and performance testing. Previous experience in working with large networked applications and understanding their development complexities is a must. Candidates should have a strong background in IP networking, testing methodologies, Network Management Systems, and experience with most the following products / technologies: SMARTS CDC, HP Openview (NNM &OVO), UNIX (Sun & HP), SNMP: MIB/traps, TCP/IP, Frame Relay, ATM, hubs, switches, gateways, routers, Optical Networks, CiscoWorks, Secure Shell, Java, PERL, BMC Patrol, Check Point Firewall, MIMIC, and NIS+.
