Rate: DOE *JOB SUMMARY:*** As a member of the Software Development team, this individual will be responsible for analysis, design, development and maintenance of new state-of-the-art client/server and web based application systems required to support and facilitate growth and business objectives. As an individual contributor, this individual will be responsible for development and implementation of leading edge, business oriented IT solutions. Initiatives will primarily focus on PeopleSoft Financial systems, but will also encompass multiple areas of the business including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Information systems. This individual may also lead a small team for certain implementations. * **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:* ** · Participate as a technical programming resource in both development and maintenance of business information systems. Responsibilities include not only contributions as an individual contributor, but also as a leader for analysis, design and development of business systems. · Work closely with Database, Networking, Telecommunications and System Support teams to provide development support for a 24x7, mission-critical environment. · Develop and program enhancements, upgrades and interfaces to support the ongoing requirements of the business. · Participate in and conduct design and code reviews. · Perform business process analysis, prioritization of requirements and definition of functional requirements using appropriate analytical techniques. · Follows appropriate structured software development and project management controls, methodologies and standards. · Establish and document appropriate project task lists and implementation schedules. Reviews lists and schedules as appropriate with project management, business analyst and client users and obtain consensus and approval. · Participate in the development and execution of quality assurance plans to ensure the systems ability to meet business requirements is fully tested. · Work with end-users, IT and other impacted areas to plan and prepare for implementation. · Develop and publish user and system documentation as required. · As a member of the Software Development, team, the Application Developer is expected to be a positive influence to other members of the department. · Provide timely and courteous support to business systems users. · Follow, and contribute to the enhancement of, corporate quality standards, particularly programming and development. *QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:* - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area - Minimum of three years experience as a Programmer/Analyst in business applications design and support of PeopleSoft Billing/Receivables (G/L and AP modules, a plus). - Demonstrated expert knowledge of: o PeopleTools/PeopleCode/App Engine, SQR o Troubleshooting PeopleSoft AE/SQL traces o Relational databases (preferably Oracle), SQL - Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft 8.4x or above (web services and XML, a plus), preferably in a Unix environment - Demonstrated problem solving skills - Strong oral and written communication skills required -- Please put a to CC [email protected] while submitting resumes.
