BEST BET IS TO HIRE SOMEONE FROM A PRODUCT BASED DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE.* REQUIREMENT DETAILS: *o ** Deliverables:* § This position will be responsible for architecture, design and development of cutting edge video search and discovery application for the Television and other screens. The application will utilize latest linguistic, information retrieval and video analysis technologies to find most relevant video and textual contents matching the query. *o **Major Duties:* § Define, architect and implement complex high-performance software applications in Search/Information retrieval domain using Java on Linux. § Understanding of the linguistic tools and technologies. § Collaborate with engineers, QA and Operations teams to architect and develop strategic and tactical solutions in the multimedia search domain. § Lead and estimate engineering effort, plan implementations, and rollout for complex search applications with implications to cross-functional teams. § Must be able to independently design, code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex applications. § Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members.
