*Xyant Technology is looking for * Title:* **MS SQL Server DBA* Location: *Ft.** Smith / Van Buren, AR* Duration: *permanent * Salary: *DOE. * *Responsibilities:* * * The Database Administrator must have Cognos BI and will help to champion the development of the company's next generation of decision support systems. This system will include the use of custom applications integrated with generic packaged software. The role is to provide technical expertise to review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain database systems that will be used to provide decision support tools to our management and support personnel. The candidate will work closely with business analysts, software developers, server and network support personnel to develop and maintain these database systems. *Qualifications:* * * Must have Cognos BI experience Bachelor*s degree or equivalent previous work experience Experience in Microsoft*s SQL Server or other large database software Experience in data modeling/architect techniques using tools such as Cognos BI, Microsoft Reporting and Analysis services and skills in the creation of data marts and multidimensional cubes. Experience in more than one of the following tools is a plus: SSIS, DB2, Cognos Query and Report Builder, .Net technologies, Microsoft Performance Analyzer or Idera Diagnostic Manager.
