Client is under tight deadlines with the currently under way project and really have little time for ramp-up, thus need someone who can hit the ground running. This is a contract position that will last at least *2 months* and if you have proven yourself to client by then, could last considerably longer. *Client prefer someone local to Denver.* Required Skills: - Computer science degree (at least a B.S.) strongly preferred - 5-10+ years experience working with MS technologies - .Net 3.0/3.5/WPF experience - Visual C++ experience - Experience with Windows applications (not just Web and/or ASP.Net developers) Preferred Skills - Very experienced with OOP concepts and write re-usable code - Very experienced and familiar with design patterns / domain driven design - Familiar with unit tests & mock objects (preferred very experienced) - Familiar with with WPF/XAML and styles, templates, triggers, etc. - Familiarity with PRISM / M-V-VM or composite UI / MVP/MVC concepts - Experienced with WPF Command Bindings and Attached Behaviors and Routed Events - Excellent written documentation skills are important and required Hardware skills: - Experience using hardware vendors system DLLs and writing pinvoke / Interop code in C# - Experience communicating with Serial Port devices (C# OK) - Experience communicating with USB drivers (C# OK) - Experienced writing high quality, multi-threaded code - DICOM & Medical Imaging experience helpful -- Thanks & Regards.
