- The Application Administrator position requires self-motivation and
technical proficiency in the administration and configuration of application
server/software including effective troubleshooting abilities.
- This position is focused on providing application administration and
support to the designated application technology stack to ensure maximum
uptime for high revenue generating Enterprise & Consumer Production Systems.

*Key Responsibilities:-*

* Maintain maximum uptime and maximum performance capacity for Enterprise
Production Systems
* Responsible for (packaged and/or customized) Application Server/Software
related to Enterprise Production systems
* Respond to server monitoring alerts by investigating problems and
developing solutions for related issues
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance and timely apply application
patches as mandated by the security and applications t team
* Perform account management for the application as well as access
permissions.
* React to any given technical situation that requires immediate attention
to ensure maximum system availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
* Participate in an on-call rotation schedule and work with the NOC
* Work on Remedy projects and resolve Remedy tickets as assigned to the
individual or team
* Adhere to strict SOX guidelines and maintain SOX compliancy when
applicable
* Follow all established IT Department processes and procedures including
release requests, minor/major change requests, etc.
* Participate in M&A projects as directed including planning and the
implementation of related infrastructure requirements
* Work with like technology team members, other IT teams, customers (users),
and other managers in helping build and implement relevant applications and
standards
* Primary duties may include interfacing and collaborating with various
groups in a professional manner to assess and/or directly implement user
requirements.
* Troubleshooting, maintenance and patching of applications
* Additional secondary duties may include configuration, tuning,
installation, validation, testing and other preparations of applications for
rapid deployment
