Duration : over 6 months *Description :* *This is a position that requires a hands-on Project Manager*. Strong data analytics experience. Ability to query a database to review data is important. Not looking for a developer or DBA, but past experience as either is good. Experience with Data transformation using Datastage and/or Informatica is required. The environment consists of a project to consolidate 10-12 ERP systems into a single point of reference. Must understand data from a raw, cleansed and summarized standpoint. Position has a high level of visibility to clients, so client-facing skills and good verbal communication is key. Position will have roughly 10 direct reports - ETL, DBA and Reporting team will make up about 4 DR's; offshore/onshore team will round out the remaining 6. *Expected duties: * - Serve as single point of contact for all BI related initiatives - Lead the evaluation of existing/proposed Data Warehouse systems - Identify and recommend technical infrastructure components - Facilitate meetings with functional groups, executive stakeholders and global operating companies *Requirements: * - Technical development experience/skill in DW development, ETL strategies, and OLAP reporting tools - Business acumen in Financial Analysis, Sales, and Customer Segmentation - Willingness to manage a small group, but also be able to get intimately involved in development if necessary - Management presentation and sound personnel management skills - Demonstrated experience on implementation of BI systems and implementation of DW solutions --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
