(preferably SAP BI and/or Business Objects, demonstrated knowledge of SDLC
and Project Management best practices. Additional Qualifications (Preferred
but not required) – PMI Certification; MBA in related discipline.



Description:



An Asst. Manager within the BI new development group has several different
roles and responsibilities to fulfill. As a ‘user-facing’ position, the
primary responsibility of this individual is to meet the requirements and
expectations of the Client's business groups he/she supports. These Business
Groups range from the Sales Force and all associated sales representative
and Field Sales Management to internal Informatics teams. Although the Sales
group is the primary benefactor of projects this individual will manage,
additional groups such as Marketing, Accounting and Compliance are served.
This individual is responsible for managing multiple projects that seek to
provide new systems and/or functionality of Business Intelligence to the
client organization. This person must manage teams that consist of both
full-time internal employees as well as contracted consultants. In addition
to overseeing direct reports, this individual must interface with multiple
Informatics and Non-Informatics groups to ensure successful delivery of all
solutions.

It is the duty of this position to manage all aspects of the Client's SDLC
and to adhere to all organizational standards and procedures while ensuring
quality solutions are delivered on-time and within budget. Reports to
Assistant Director Informatics Sales and Marketing BI. 1.2 Primary Job
Duties

This employee will have the following job duties: 1. Manage cross-functional
project teams through the full project lifecycle for multiple high profile
projects ensuring the timely delivery of Business Intelligence solutions to
the organization.

2. Adhere to all SOPs and PM best practices which include the SDLC set forth
for the Informatics department. This includes adhering to all design and
performance standards for system Quality and Correctness.

3. Manage direct and in-direct reports which can consist of Developers (SAP
and Non-SAP), Technical/Business Analysts, Technical Architect and DB
Administrators and operators.

4. Lead multiple concurrent projects while adhering to strict budget and
time constraints.

5. Perform project management duties through the use of PM tool (i.e. MS
Project) and through Change Management Software (i.e. Remedy). These
activities include project plan and budget management, time and cost
analysis, forecasting, resource allocation and leveling.

6. Create and deliver project reports into the Department PMO (Project
Management Office) which includes Sr. Management.

7. Proactively identify potential project risks/issues. Coordinate with
management across multiple groups to establish mitigation and action plans.

8. Continuously assess and implement team standards and controls and adapt
to environmental changes. These standards and controls include
documentation, procedures and/or PM strategies.

9. Lead all aspect of the SDLC which includes gathering of requirements,
business and technical assessments, complex back and front-end designs,
implementations, testing, data validation, training and deployment.
Continuously act as point of contact for the business and ensure adequate
collaboration throughout all projects.

10. Review and approve all design and architectural proposals. This includes
acquiring final approval from technical architect.

11. Interface with Corporate Sales Administration department for the
establishment and approval of all requirements and for the data validation
of all BI deliverables.

12. Liaison with Training department for the creation and delivery of all
required training medium.

13. Liaison with SQA (Sales Quality Assurance) department to ensure all
systems meet quality standards in terms of Performance and Functionality.

14. Interface with various Informatics departments which include; BI
Production Support/Ops, SAP Basis/Security, Engineering/Infrastructure and
the Informatics CRM team. 1.3 Additional Responsibilities
