*Duration – 12mos* *Rate – DOE* Experience with the NYS Methodology Guide Book is a mandatory. *Mandatory Skill/Expertise:* · Minimum 9 years experience in overseeing medium scaled projects (those with a budget over $500,000); Information Technology (IT) projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables; typically coordinates and delegates the assignments for the project staff numbering over 20; serves as focal point of contact for Customer regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements; manages scope changes/extensions, and financial, administrative, and technical issues and concerns raised by consultant staff Customer/Program Area. · *Experience managing projects following a formal Project Management Methodology (PMM), including the NYS OFT Project Management Guidebook.* · Experience using Microsoft Proj ect. Formal Training with MS Project is *highly *desired. * * *Desirable Skills*** · PMP certification is desired. · Experience (at least 1 engagement of not less than 6 months in duration) assisting organizations with Primavera implementation, primavera support activities and organizational Change Management as it relates to implementing Primavera in a large organizations (more than 500 Primavera Users) · Two (2) years experience performing facilitation and change management (change readiness assessment, change management communications strategy development, change management stakeholder engagement) to ensure maximum adoption of the Primavera tools. · Hands-on experience with the setup, configuration and deployment of Primavera P6 and Contract Manager. · Background in the transportation construction industry. · Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment. Ability to work with many employee view points and build consensus. *Work Description:*** The Primavera P6.1 implementation is nearly complete and staff have received initial training with the tool. DOT recognizes that we need additional support and guidance from consultants with Primavera expertise. Below is a list of some example work activities: *Training:* • Identify specific training requirements and develop a training plan for Primavera Users in all regions and main office. • Develop training content, and workshops geared specifically toward our highway projects. • Provide training, coaching and mentoring with the use of the Primavera P6 tool. Maintain training rosters for each session delivered. *Support:* • Provide expertise in end user support, problem diagnosis and resolution. Currently we receive an average of 35 helpdesk calls per week. Problems requiring resolution are from Users and ITD staff. • Provide organizational change support to the regional business units.
