*Duration: 1 Year* *Rate: $60-65/hr* *PREFFER LOCALS* *Minimum 8+ years of Experience * *Primary Skills:* *Supporting a large Wide Area Network support of routing protocols including OSPF, RIP II, BGP, PPP, Frame Relay, or MPLS in a multi-vendor environment.* *Secondary Skills:* *Implementing and administering Firewalls and VPN network security solutions*, *implementing and administering Nortel or Cisco L2/L3 switches, ability to support and use network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Sniffer , E-Health, HPOpenView* 1. *Eight (8) years of senior level experience supporting a* *large Wide Area Network support of routing protocols including OSPF, RIP II, BGP, PPP, Frame * * Relay, or MPLS in a multi-vendor environment * 2. *Four (4) years senior level experience implementing and administering Firewalls and VPN network security solutions * 3. *Eight (8) Years experience implementing and administering Nortel or Cisco L2/L3 switches * 4. *Proven ability to support and use network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Sniffer , E-Health, HP OpenView or equivalent tools * 5. Documented Senior level experience defining, documenting, publishing, communicating and enforcing network standards, policies and procedures 6. *Availability to augment 7 x 24 x 365 emergency support of an enterprise network. * *Associated Skills (must meet at least 5 to be considered)* 1.Certifications are a plus CCNA, CCNP, CCIE 2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent experience 3. Experience implementing and administering Nortel Passport 8600 series switches 4. Experience implementing and administering Nortel or Cisco routers 5. Experience implementing and administering Cisco 6500 or 4500 series switches 6. Experience implementing and administering NetScreen VPN/Firewalls 7. Experience implementing and administering Checkpoint/Firewalls 8. Experience implementing and administering wireless networks 9.
