This includes understanding documented requirements, technical specification documentation, design, architecture, implementation, unit testing, builds/deployments, troubleshooting, and code management. Skilled at interfacing & communicating effectively with business partners & associated teams Experienced at taking non-technical business requirements and designing technical solutions Effectively manage and oversee day-to-day design, progress, status, implementation, issues, etc. with development team Communicates with project management status of assigned tasks, estimates of proposed tasks, and actual time spent on completion of project tasks. Collaborate with local & remote team members effectively. Effectively lead and review design discussions. *Technical Skills Required* 7+ years full lifecycle development experience 3+ years of Websphere Portal development and administration experience. 2+ years experience with designing and implementing Java portal architectures 5+ years in Java and J2EE 1+ years experience with content management systems Understanding of Oracle and Adobe Flex technologies Expertise in Object Oriented Analysis and Object Oriented Programming Expertise in design and analysis using UML methodologies Expertise in Personalization, Layout, Themes and Skins of Websphere Portal Application. Expertise in web application security. Expert level understand of integrating external systems like Siteminder, Interwoven, IBM Web Content Management (WCM) Experience in Service Oriented Architectures and WebService architectures Experience in UNIX fundamentals Experience supporting systems in a production environment String working knowledge of with Eclipse, RAD, WSAD, SVN, JIRA, Ant *Technical Skills Preferred* Experience with Hibernate, Spring, Struts, JDBC, EJB, Hibernate Experience with Open Source Technologies Experience with IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory Familiarity with Ant scripts and Unix Shell Scripts.
