Job Title : Java Developer Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 12 months Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications using Java-based technologies, including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets. Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming. Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners. 6+ years of prior Java development experience required. Required Skills: *Java 1.5+ (Required) *Oracle database management system (DBMS) and PL/SQL (Required) *Microsoft Office skills *J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) methodology (JSF/AJAX/JavaScript) (Required) *HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) and XML (eXtensible Markup Language) (Required) *RAD (Rational Application Developer) application development skills or other eclipse based tool (Required) ***Must have at least 3+ years of up to date Websphere experience Nice to Have: *Ability to use multiple tools and techniques to facilitate the design, development, and integration of business systems *Knowledge of a wide range of technical systems or expertise in a more narrow range *Ability to develop increasingly complex business systems *Ability to contingency plan, analyze systems for efficiencies, and develop test case scenarios *Knowledge of multiple business functional / technical areas *Ability to communicate effectively (both written and orally) with all levels of audiences *Knowledge of SOA (service-oriented architecture) and experience with developing Webservices *Programming skills *Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts *Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application *Knowledge of Websphere 6.1+ *Knowledge of Rational Version control tools (ClearCase/ClearQuest) *Knowledge of change management processes *Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) *Knowledge of Rational ClearQuest for approving and tracking production changes *Knowledge of SERENA ChangeMan utility on the mainframe Thanks &Regards, Allen khan .
