Need. .Net w/ MS Commerce and/or Content Management Server Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6mths Rate: $50/hr on C2C My client is seeking a .NET consultant for its eCommerce Solution using Microsoft Commerce Server and Content Management Server. The primary role will be enhancing and optimizing the solution for increased performance as well as developing new business processes and modules. This position will work in a team environment on strengthening the client's custom solution for hundreds of clients and millions of visitors. This consultant must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. The software development responsibilities will include analysis, design of technical specifications, coding, testing, and support of new and existing customer facing applications. * Enhancement and optimization of solution includes * Performance Tuning of MCMS, SQL Server and ASP.NET * eCommerce Payment Processing through Tokenization * Business Process improvements through Architecture enhancements * Management Reporting through consolidated Reporting and Data Warehousing * Solution utilizes VB.net, C#, ASP.Net with Visual Studio 03/05/08, SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services. * Utilization of TFS for task management. Requirements * 5 years of experience in the design, development and support of both public and private facing web applications * 3 years of experience in Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 and/or Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 * Development skills include: Visual Studio 03/05/08, VB.net, C#, SQL Server, DTS/SSIS, SSRS, ASP.NET, Web Services, ASP.NET, Net Framework, Object Oriented Development and advanced HTML skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong problem solving skills are required.
