Duration: Full Time Location: St. Louis, MO Visa: only U.S Citizens or Green Card Job Description: *U.S Citizens or Green Card only *(No EAD status or H1) * *Position Accountabilities* - Assures the research and implementation of solutions for Basis functionality in the areas of performance monitoring, tuning and systems configuration. - Assures the executes and implementation of SAP architecture as designed. - Assures effective customer service to resolve issues swiftly and accurately to meet customer needs. - Assures SAP BASIS administration for SAP tailoring, bolt-ons, change management, scheduling and integration. *Position Essential Functions* - Installs new releases of SAP as appropriate. Coordinates developer and configurer testing. - Research OSS notes and keeps SAP patches current. - Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff. High degree of autonomy, once requirements agreed upon across the SAP Technical Team. - Provide deep operational and technical knowledge in area of SAP and SAP partner applications. - Serve as technical liaison for supported applications to prioritize and resolve partner requests. - Execute delivery of technical designs according to Brown Shoe architectural standards. - Coach and mentor both functionally and technically and from a process and client communication perspective. - Assist with delivering requirements for infrastructure implementation. - Support other team deliverables such as design, code and test as appropriate. - Support the team for adherence to defined repeatable processes. - Stay abreast of new technology and Brown Shoe standards and direction. *Position Specifications* *Educational Preference:* Bachelors degree or higher with a major in Computer Science, Manage Information System, Business Administration or Engineering preferred. *Job Experience: * *THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CRIMINAL/CREDIT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION BEFORE OFFER* - 6-10 years of progressive IT experience - *4-6 years of experience with mySAP Business Suite and/or NetWeaver* - Demonstrated experience working on simultaneous development and implementation projects with a variety of stakeholder groups - Worked with diverse team members in different geographical locations, including offshore development centers - Deep problem solving support skills - Excellent communication skills with both business partners and team members - Certification or experience with Six Sigma is desirable *Computer Experience:* - 4-6 years of experience with mySAP Business Suite and/or NetWeaver - Required: Specific Basis level knowledge of SRM 7.0, MDM 7.1, and catalog version 3.0 installation and configuration including interfacing these products with other SAP product sets *Additional Notes:* Opportunity to get in at ground level and build a system from ground up.
