*Job Title: Sharepoint Administrator* *Location: Chicago, IL Duration: Long Term (Backfill position, min till Dec 2010)* *I. Missions* To administrate and support on a daily basis the Microsoft Office Sharepoint Portal Server (MOSS) 2007 and Sharepoint 2003 infrastructure and applications maintained by the global messaging team of the client’s Infrastructure & Operations department. To achieve the international technical level 2/3 support on Sharepoint, Active Directory and MS-Exchange To automate and optimize processes supported by the global messaging team *II. Responsibilities:* Administration, Support and Deployment of the client’s Worldwide MOSS 2007 and Sharepoint 2003 server farms Develops tools, scripts, procedures or documents that allow the automation of operational tasks and service improvement for all Messaging teams (level 2 and Service Desk). Administration, Support and Deployment of the client’s Active Directory and Messaging Service Achieves the level 2 international technical support on Active Directory and MS-Exchange Systems Support the level 2 on the daily administration Transfer of knowledge & procedures to the level 2 Messaging team Appraises the functioning of the processes, the SMTP/MS-Exchange routing, the tuning of servers. Achieves the customer support in the operations linked to the service. Suggests, assists and intervenes as Messaging Expert to the Operational teams (Messaging team, HelpDesk team, AD team, …). Manages changes and complaints at a worldwide environment Manages Capacity Planning (global performance issue & OS, storage performance) for proactive diagnose. Manages the crisis and performance problems: identifies the causes and finds solutions. Management and Deployment of Projects within the global messaging department of Infrastructure and Operations. Engineering in Active Directory and MS-Exchange environment and associated tools. *III. Level of education and experience wanted* Higher education in computer science Engineer/Diploma in computer science 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position *IV. Required Skills:* In-depth understanding of Windows Sharepoint Services version 2.0 and 3.0, and Microsoft Office Sharepoint Portal Server 2007, Sharepoint 2003. Certification in Office SharePoint Server 2007 strongly desired. Strong troubleshooting skills in the area of IIS, SSL, PKI, Kerberos authentication, SMTP, HTTP, authentication, and access control lists Familiar with development technologies including Visual Studio 2008, .NET Framework, and C# Experience deploying web parts and solutions, development of workflows using Visual Studio and Sharepoint Designer, and development and debugging of code written to the Sharepoint Object Model In-depth understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005. Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures. Multiple Messaging system knowledge, Data Center type operation knowledge Technical Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP load balancers Technical Knowledge of protocols like IMAP, LDAP, X500, TCP-IP, … Technical Knowledge of W2K3, Group Shield, Windows clustered solutions English: Fluent oral and written *V. Optional Skills* Technical knowledge of Microsoft Live Communication Server (LCS) Technical knowledge of Blackberry and Good link servers *VI.
