Strong skills are needed for development, debugging, trouble-shooting and supporting standard Oracle functionality, as well as custom code and enhancements. Good communication and team skills are required, including the ability to work well with users and upper management. This position requires an excellent understanding of Oracle databases, processes and financials applications. Experience required in the Projects and Fixed Asset modules, and desired for iProcurement, Purchasing and Payables as well. *Job Responsibilities:* Specific duties include, but are not limited to: · Lead or participate in application development, problem resolution, and system enhancements. · Trouble-shoot problems, and be able to solve complex issues with the help of Oracle Support. · Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, views, triggers to support financial applications using PL/SQL. · Develop and support a variety of interfaces and custom processes in the Oracle Applications. · Create UNIX scripts to process financial data. · Provide day to day Production support for the Oracle Single Global Instance (R12) · Work with other developers and business analysts to develop and design applications systems and programs. · Actively participate in applications planning/strategy meetings and provide input on the most appropriate and effective use of applications. · Develop software code that conforms to IS&T standards for quality and conformity. *Qualifications Requirements:* · 5-10 years experience with Oracle Applications, including at least 1 year with version R12. · Experience in the Financial modules of Projects and Fixed Assets is required. · Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing and Payables is a strong plus. · Strong experience and understanding of PL/SQL. · Hands-on experience with Java, JDeveloper and OA Framework. · Expertise in Oracle Developer for Reports and Forms. · Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills is required. · Knowledge of UNIX sufficient to write shell scripts and to debug existing scripts. -- Thanks Pavan Bandaru 510-943-4299 pa...@noblesoft-solutions.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
