We are seeking a Sr. Content Management Architect for a client in Crystal
City, VA
*Specific Job Description*
Senior content management architect technically proficient with the EMC
Documentum product suite to assume the technical lead role responsible to
develop the technical solution and deliver Enterprise Content Management
services (ECMS). This is a senior architect position that requires strong
analysis, design and development skills. As the ECMS Architect, the
candidate will analyze and translate business requirements into an
Enterprise services architecture based on a SOA platform, and design content
and service delivery strategies to support a nationwide Content Management
implementation. Establish the vision for Content Management and introduce
the customer to Content Management capabilities that could expand the
services delivered by the FAS OCIO. Work with the project team to assist in
the migration of paper based structured and unstructured documents into
Documentum. Assist the customer to develop enterprise wide policies to
support digital document content services. Establish process and procedure
for scanning of paper documents. Work with project team to install,
configure and implement the system across the United States. Develop Content
Management roadmap and related whitepapers to introduce emerging
technologies to the customer.
*Required Skills:*
12+ years of demonstrated experience in content management application
development and support across the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
5+ years architecting large content management systems using EMC Documentum
product suite v6.0+
3+ years working with Oracle for software development and data modeling
Experience conducting architecture assessments of the Content Management
systems and proposing both tactical and strategic improvements to the
architecture
Active participation on previous projects with similar responsibilities
Experience designing, developing and supporting applications using EMC
Documentum Development tools, Documentum Foundation Services, Documentum
Business Objects Framework, Web services, Java and SOA
Experience with multiple EMC Documentum Clients (Webtop, My Documentum,
CenterStage) preferred
Experience designing and building custom Web clients applications
Experience in building scanning applications
Experience explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical staff
using both excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
*Desired Skills:*
Experience in EMC Documentum system administration preferred
2 years of related experience with supply chain management preferred
Knowledge of GSA FAS OCIO applications
EMC Documentum certification preferred
Certified Architect
Java Certification
Experience with other Content Management software
Configuration Management experience
Project Management experience
SOA Experience
Experience mentoring junior personnel in the Documentum environment
*Duties & Responsibilities*
Provide technical leadership to the team
Develop and maintain technical documentation of architecture and standards
Conduct architecture assessments of the Content Management systems and
propose both tactical and strategic improvements to the architecture
