Our Prime vendor client is seeking a Java Developer with 8 - 10 years
experience in application development utilizing JAVA/J2EE technologies.
*Responsibilities include: *

· Experience in open source development on a UNIX & Linux platform using
tools such as Eclipse, Subversion
· Must have a strong knowledge of relational databases (Preferably Oracle)
and be proficient with SQL
· Strong experience in database, ETL and messaging platform critical
· Ability to work with DBAs and Data Modelers on database designs that
improve the effectiveness and performance of query and reporting
· Architectural review, design and critical data analysis skills
· Review requirements and create technical designs and estimates
· Participate in Internal and External Technical Design sessions
· Proven ability to work with business users, gather and document
requirements and analyze and provide delivery timelines
· Deliver accurate and detailed release notes
· Create Change Requests related to requirements and allocate to
implementation developers
· Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently
*Professional/technical experience*
· Strong software development experience using Java/J2EE technologies and
frameworks in large scale projects
· Object oriented design skills using UML and design patterns
· Experience with SOA, ESB, workflow, single sign-on, document management,
and n-tier systems
*· Experience in the following: *
WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Informatica, WMQ, Solace, TIBCO
BusinessWorks, Composite Studio, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, JavaScript,
XML, XSLT, JAXP, JAXB, DOM, SAX, SOAP, Web Services, Axis, Oracle, SQL
Server, PL/SQL, LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, Eclipse, Perforce, Ant,
Perl, Unix, Linux
