Please find the below req and send me your consultant resume… Please send resume to: rakes...@inspiron-inc.com Position: Project Manager *Location: Chicago, IL* Duration: 6+months *Project manager required to manage upgrade of the current Web content management system from Autonomy Interwoven Team Site to Autonomy Interwoven Live Site, while at the same time implement several key features of this new release that are critical to completing the final phase of the Web foundation development. *The length of the project (6+ months) is primarily driven by several architectural changes introduced by this new release that are fairly invasive. These architectural changes, along with the exploitation of new features, will have a major positive impact on the current Web environment and the way in which content is presented on the Web site. As a result of this upgrade the client will be in a position to reap the following benefits: Significant reduction of time-to-delivery of new, often urgent, Web content Vastly increased content presentation flexibility facilitating considerable business control over the end to end User Experience Vastly increased content targeting, enabling the ability to capture why the user has come to the site and presenting contextual related content and business offerings that align with the users intent Keep the content management platform in a fully vendor-supported configuration Service Type: Senior Project Manager Description: Provide senior technical skills and analysis for project management. Manage IT development staff. Develop and manage custom web application development project in support of an online subscription based product. Requirements: BS or BA degree in computer science or related field is required. Graduate degree in computer science (MS) or Business (MBA) is a plus. PMP Certification is preferred. Minimum 5 years web application development experience, and 5-10 years in systems design are required. Skilled at documentation/design and possess hands-on experience with project management tools. Broad technical skills with a strong understanding of software development tools and languages. A solid understanding of full life-cycle management is required. Minimum 5 years of project management, strategic planning, work scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, communication planning, deployment planning, and status reporting. Demonstrated experience in customer web application implementation and troubleshooting is also required. Ability to supervise application developers, business analysts, technical architects and quality assurance testers on project tasks. Proven track record of successful implementations that were delivered on time and on budget with minimal post-implementation issues. Experience managing medium to large complex projects and maintain MS project plans, status, and issues. Resolve all project issues and manage scope. Deliver projects on time, within budget and meet quality standards. Direct software design, programming, set-up, testing, and installation of systems. Enforce standard technical direction and project priorities. Participate and manage relevant aspects of the disaster recovery plan. Assist with strategic planning, budgeting, contract initiation, and cross-project resource sharing. Negotiate contracts for contract programmers and computer software purchasing/licensing. Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change. Experience developing user acceptance test plans. Experience with iterative (Agile) methodologies. Ability to work with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills including presenting project status to senior management and steering committees. Ability to work long hours when necessary, to travel, attend educational events, and to meet with vendors and high-level business leaders. Experience with content management platforms specifically Autonomy Interwoven Team Site or Autonomy Interwoven Live Site a plus. Experience with content management systems generating dynamic content such as directed navigation and personalization preferred.
