Duration : 6 Months.* *Openings : 6* * ** Job Role:* * Coordinate the overall planning and scheduling of changes/releases * Planning, scheduling and controlling the movement of Releases to test and live environments * Interacting with stakeholders and monitoring progress throughout the change/release lifecycle. * Verify quality of information in Change/Release request * Reject or defer requests, as appropriate, based on the initial review * Working with Project and Production Support Managers prioritize all Change/Release Requests * Coordinate change implementations with Release Management * Review all implemented Changes and outstanding CRs for appropriate status * Produce regular and accurate management reports * Monitoring for process improvements and communicate improvements to organization as they are deployed. * Performance enhancements - identify areas of improvement and resolve *For Deployments* * Managing deployments across heterogeneous platforms * Establishment of best practices for Application environment & support team * Monitoring and improvements in operational efficiency and service levels * Provide necessary support for the day-to-day deployment operations team to meet the service level * Provide information / project reporting on a regular basis *Skills Required:* * Thorough knowledge of SDLC support cycle and ITIL based change, release and deployment management *For Deployments* * Complete knowledge of SDLC support cycle for application infrastructure support * Sound knowledge of 3 tier application infrastructure / hosting requirements according to sound industry best practices * 7-8 years of hands-on experience in handling projects for hosting new/existing applications and support of applications infrastructure * Overall expertise required on application servers / webservers / database / Operating system / Storage / Networks * Specific work experience in performance tuning of BEA web logic, webmethods and Iplanet products (webserver / app servers) Know-how of datacenter procedures / policies and best practices * Good working experience in capacity sizing for big projects and benchmarking exercises * ITIL Certification is added advantage. * Thanks & Regards, Bhageerath| Sr. Resourcing Specialist SYSTEL INC.
