Senior level Unix admin
- *Experience*
- 5+ years experience with SUN Solaris OS
- Extensive SAN experience: Hitachi, EMC, NetApp
- Symantec Veritas Volume Manager
- NetBackup experience
- Proficient Unix scripting : Korn, Bourne and C Shell
- Perl scripting
- Performance and kernel tuning
- Solid understanding of Unix related network services - DNS, NFS,
TCP-IP protocol
- Good organization and communication skills
- College degree preferred
- *Interpersonal Skills*
- Ability to work with vendors in resolving technical issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task
- *Hardware/Software*
- SUN servers with extensive experience on SUN Solaris OS 9 & 10
- Virtualization with Solaris 10
- Hitachi Storage system (9980 or 9990V)
- SAN and NAS
- Strong Symantec Veritas Volume Manager and NetBackup experience is
required
- SAN switch - Brocade
