* Oracle Apex developer* *Primary Skills:* Oracle , Apex (Application express) , Pl/SQL *Description:* - Candidate who must compulsorily have minimum 2 years (and very good ) with APEX ( Application Express) and strong PL/SQL along with the rest of the skills listed below. *DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Designs, builds, and implements changes, extensions and enhancements to Oracle/SMAX application/K12/Education Domain program and reports according to software standards and conventions; 2. Reviews and debugs existing customizations and reports as necessary; 3. Meets with non-technical staff to define user requirements; 4. Assists with and/or conduct training programs for analysts/developers, consultants and users; 5. Coordinates development and maintenance of a test environment including procedure for migration to production environment; 6. Coordinates and supports interfaces to legacy systems as required 7. Documents all procedures used in reports and customizations; 8. Updates technical skills and knowledge through continuous self-study, self-discovery tutorials, and classes; and 9. Troubleshoots programs and issues encountered by system users, suggest resolutions, and resolve those problems and issues. *QUALIFICATIONS:* To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to consistently perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Successful candidates will possess the following skills / competencies: 1. Working knowledge of Oracle ERP technical database foundation and table structure and relationships; 2. Working functional knowledge of two to three Oracle ERP modules 3. Working knowledge of SchoolMAX application/K12/Education Domain technical database and data structure; 4. Must be able to use Oracle development tools to prepare reports and extracts for the business and instructional staff to support the school System; 5. Working knowledge of Oracle Development tools such as Developer 6i (Forms and Reports), SQL*plus, SQL*loader, Oracle Software Utilities, Workflow and Alerts, Discoverer 10g web, Custom Library (PLL) and SQL performance tuning; 6. Working knowledge of third party Oracle development tools such as TOAD and SOL; 7. Ability to write interfaces between third party systems and Oracle ERP and SMAX; and 8.
