*MicroStrategy Quality Assurance Analyst New York City, NY (Long Island) 6 Months Contract * *Description: **Develop and maintain the MSTR-specific test batteries which include test cases and data sets (both natural and synthetic). Become intimately familiar with the MSAA business requirements as a foundation for testing the MicroStrategy reports Design of requirements traceability matrices which map individual test cases to the business requirements new/changed components need to address. Management of the MicroStrategy defect log Execution of appropriate regression tests. Detection, diagnosis, and escalation of MSAA platform defects. Pro-active identification of platform performance issues. * *Level: Specialist or strong intermediate Skills: **3+ years experience in design and execution of MicroStrategy test packages 2+ years experience with maintain or testing software in an Oracle environment 2+ years experience defining synthetic test data sets to perform sufficient integration, regression, and performance testing of software applications Mastery of software integration, regression, performance, and acceptance testing techniques Familiarity with user acceptance testing methodology Familiarity with the BI software development lifecycles Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong ability to discuss complex technical issues in a way understandable to non-technical, business personnel. Due to resource constraints, this resource will be wholly responsible for QA of the 3 MicroStrategy reports being delivered in Phase 1 in a tight, 6-week QA cycle. This includes Test case design, execution, and validation. There will be no QA lead.*
