- Knowledge and hands-on experience of following.
- Core Java programming
- Web services/SOA development
- Multi-threading
- Java Messaging frameworks
- Working with XML
- Database programming in Java
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of design patterns and algorithms
- Very good communication and willingness to work with user's directly.
- Willingness to work in onsite/offshore model and work with offshore
teams.
- Nice to have's
- Good knowledge of Clearcase
- Building applications for clustered environment
- Building high performance and available applications
*Project Details:*
· The project is to build the Cloud computing model. This will
involve, at high level, tracks for Compute, Storage as a Service, Network
and Monitoring and metering. Another track for the same initiative is to
build integration layer for Client’s Cloud offerings. The responsibility of
this group would be identify, design and develop the SaaS layer.
*Job Role / Description: *
Work with product managers to understand the high level requirements.
*- Design the solution for given business goal. This may involve
working with designated architects to define scope.*
* - Development of this solution using stack for Cloud.*
* - As part of development, expectation is to build JUnits, run
code coverage tools etc.*
* - Bug fixes and enhancements to feature*
* - In some cases, the individual will be required to co-ordinate
with offshore for some of the activities. This is not expected to be the
major part of their role.*
