Please send resume to: rakes...@inspiron-inc.com Oracle Portal Developer 1-2 year contract Rockville MD ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the integration of Core Competencies into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge/quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative/motivation, cooperation/relationships, problem analysis/discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral/written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to Affirmative Action, reliability/dependability, flexibility and ownership/accountability of actions taken. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Hands-on experience with Oracle Portal 10g and should have performed extensive development and customization work using Oracle SQL/PLSQL. Identify and formulate interface control requirements between various systems and the Oracle AERS platform. Should also have experience with writing interface control documents (ICD) for multiple projects. Architect and design interfaces for the system; work with the client interface team to establish necessary interface approvals and changes from source and to target systems. Advanced knowledge and strong experience with Relational databases in Oracle 10g and 11g in a RAC environment. Data modeling, logical architecture (business entities, data flows), process architecture (functional verticals, processes, services) and implementation architecture (components, classes, application frameworks, technologies). Must possess experience with Oracle, PL/SQL and be able to demonstrate expertise in the areas of schema design including implementation, performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, applications design, and database administration Should have hands-on experience with PL/SQL, XML, XSL, shell scripting on a Sun Solaris 10 environment. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Must have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of experience. Must have strong technical and functional knowledge in architecting enterprise solutions with OOD and UML. Primarily worked with Oracle, PL/SQL, Java scripting and shell scripting under Sun Solaris 10. Must have experience in building interfaces between external applications with Oracle. Must have strong knowledge in data modeling, database schema and table design. Must have prior experience in leading technical deliverables. Must possess excellent Verbal and Written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate & work with fellow team members and other functional team members to coordinate & meet deliverables. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision. Must have the ability to escalate issues in a timely manner. Must be a self-motivated person with high energy.
