Job title: Business Object Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6+Months Description: Below is the description but what we really need is a *BO* person with Universes experience. The Business Objects Developer will: • Design and implement reports and dashboards with a variety of visualization techniques to assist users in identifying critical data quickly and accurately • Design and build Business Objects Universes for customer implementations • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs • Utilize Oco's internally developed process and tools to query client data, identify key business relationships and map fields into Oco’s Intelligent Data Schema • Work closely with the Delivery Program Manager to determine the client’s needs and how to meet project goals • Ensure assigned tasks are complete within the timeframe established by the project plan • Assist in the testing of internal systems, as well as client implementations • Take initiative when a problem is found to notify the appropriate individuals or to fix the problem when possible Requirements: • Must Have: o A minimum of 2 years experience developing with the Business Objects Web Intelligence and Xcelsius tools within the last 5 years o Experience in Business Objects Universe design, creation, and support o 2-4 years experience with relational databases o Experience using SQL to explore and analyze data sets o Understanding of data structures as they relate to business behavior o Ability to write moderate to complex SQL queries, to read and understand complex SQL queries, and to utilize other SQL artifacts (such as Stored Procedures and Views) o Ability to work on multiple projects and manage competing priorities o Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills o Experience in customer facing roles • Desirable: o Experience with SAPBusinessObjects BIOD (Business Intelligence on Demand) platform o Experience using software engineering tools for source control (Subversion), automated testing, and defect tracking o Experience in specific vertical industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, or Finance * * *Regards, Srikanth Panasa Technical Recruiter IT all Tech || "Putting all technologies to work"|| Ph: (513) 898-9628, eFax: (615) 807-4747 http://www.italltech.com|| Email: srika...@italltech.com * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
