Kindly reply to *sind...@boston-technology.com* Location; Columbus, Ohio Duration: 6+ months Rate: Open Roles and Responsibilities: - Collaborate with customers and requirements team/analysts to visualize and design reports, dashboards, and analytics - Collaborate with ETL lead/developers to develop data marts, dimensional models, and OLAP cubes for reporting - Design, develop, and test standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics - Lead and support core Universe and Reporting development team - Mentor and support offshore report development team with report development - Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including analysis, design, build, and test - Participate in the complete testing cycle, including regression testing, performance testing, and bug fixes - Assist with developing, implementing, and continuously updating “best practices” and standards as they relate to reporting and analytics in the business intelligence environment Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Course of study/major: Information Systems or Computer Science Related work experience: 4-6 years - Bachelors Degree in computer science, MIS, Statistics, or equivalent experience - Personal qualities: innovation, resourcefulness, tenacity, independence, energy, and self-confidence - Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence - High proficiency in understanding relational and dimensional data models - Proficiency in SQL including the use of SQL editors, stored procedures, database triggers and optimizing SQL statements - Experience with Oracle 9i or higher - Broad understanding of reporting technologies, including reporting suite management, report visualization, design and development, dashboard visualization , design and development, and analytical modeling, design and development - Experience in tuning/caching reports, and service configuration - Minimum two years knowledge of and experience with Business Objects toolsets, including Universe Designer, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Crystal Xcelsius, as a designer and developer - Experience with Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.0 - Strong strategic skills, the ability to lead in the adoption of reporting, dashboard, and analytics technologies and toolsets, standards and best practices - Proven tactical skills, the ability to move tactical decisions towards strategic initiatives - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team - Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad base of business and technology associates - Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal and external customers - Ability to handle difficult situations; work as a team to resolve issues and to help “firefight” during crisis situations - Willingness and ability to mentor and train NetJets team member to assume Reporting Lead position when ready - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously - Demonstrated ability with Microsoft desktop tools, including Word, Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook - Ability to travel as necessary - Ability to work overtime as necessary Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Course of study/major: Information Systems or Computer Science Related work experience: 6-8 years - Experience in large-scale data warehouse deployment - Experience in metadata management and Business Objects Data Integrator toolset - Experience in creating and maintaining portlets - Experience in user experience design and/or designing web sites Thanks & Regards Ghouse Basha Resource Manager Phone No: 781-544-4799 ext: 111 Fax No: 508.519.9180 bas...@boston-technology.com www.boston-technology.com An Inc 500/5000 Company Certified Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) Notice of Confidentiality: The information contained herein is intended only for the confidential use of the recipient.
