This role will be performing day-to-day duties of a Senior Unix/Linux Admin, including building the OS, managing App/OS configurations, providing support to Operations/DEV/QA teams. The role will be responsible for coordinating daily changes scheduled through Puppet configuration management tool between 1st & 2nd shift personnel to ensure they’re implemented as planned and troubleshoot/fix/escalate any issues that may arise. *Experience/skills requirements:* 6 years experience as a Senior Unix/Linux Systems Administrator/Engineer 2 years experience with Red Hat Operating System, building/configuring on HP DLXXX and BLXXX hardware Experience with Red Hat satellite infrastructure and automation Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet Experience with Sun Solaris and HP-UX. 2 years experience as a Windows Administration preferred. Experience in troubleshooting problems with hardware, operating system and related software components Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, AD, SAN, n-tier architecture, shell scripting such as ksh, bash, csh, ssh Be able to provide second and third level support.
