    Minimum Requirements:

   - Advanced knowledge of design, installation, and maintenance of Cisco
   Manager, Cisco Unity
   - 5-7 years experience supporting technology infrastructures,
   server-based services and directory services within a multi-site WAN
   environment
   - Solid experience of routing protocols with experience using EIGRP, BGP,
   OSPF
   - Experience in configuring Cisco Routers, Switches and firewalls in an
   enterprise environment
   - Experience configuring core LAN switches such as Catalyst 6500s and
   4500s, using Layer3 switching
   - Experience in Voice-over-IP, Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voice Mail, and
   IOS Voice Gateways
   - Working experience with Network Protocol Analyzers and Network Sniffers
   - CISCO and Microsoft Certifications highly desirable
   - Bachelor's degree in computer science, or computer-related technical
   degree/training strongly preferred
   - Experience in the configuration, documentation and management of
   in-building wiring, including Fiber and Copper Cablin
   - Experience in technology assessment; standards development;
   documentation and incorporation of technology into production environments


   - Some experience with wireless technologies highly desirable
   - Knowledge of TCP/IP, SIP, H.323, MGCP protocols highly desirable.
   - Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks; effective time management

   - developing the overall voice strategy, design, upgrades, deployment,
   and troubleshooting of components
   - design, installation and configuration of Cisco CallManager in a
   Clustered Solution
   - Cisco Unity Voice Mail / Unified Messaging design and configuration
   - Planning and execution of a phased PBX to IP Telephony migration
   - Design and implementation of voice gateways for PRI and analog voice
   circuits
   - Provide 3rd level support for all VOIP network devices throughout
   various production, development, and testing environments.
   - Provides 3rd level support related to network connectivity for VOIP,
   including troubleshooting, capacity planning, and integration.
   - Manage vendors delivering voice services within Brookfield.
   - Identify new technologies and alternative systems to enhance security,
   reliability or customer experience of the VOIP network.
   - Develop scalable VOIP designs, solutions, policies, and recommendations
   based upon company specifications and vendor recommendations
   - Identify, research, evaluate and recommend network related tools and
   emerging network technologies.
   - Provide capacity planning for wide area network and internet circuits.
   - Manage Change Requests for changes to Call Manager, voice gateways and
   other Cisco Voip related products
   - Develop and exercise Disaster Recovery Plans for the VOIP network..
   - Develop and deploy methodologies for testing network performance and
   providing network performance statistics and reports.
   - Implement VoIP infrastructure and its associated software, including
   Call Managers, Unity Servers, IVDR systems.
   - Integrate IP telephony systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless
   LANs, and other internet based services and protocols.
   - Select, deploy, and utilize appropriate tools for reporting and routing
   of IP telephony traffic on the network.
